Good food, great service. A hidden gem in Hillsboro. If you haven't been in a while. Try it again.

Our first time at this location, I decided on the Cheese Omelette, Hash Browns, & Link Sausage, & Toast. The wife ordered Eggs, Hash Brown's, Link Sausage, & Toast. The portions were more than enough for each of us. The Service was prompt, & friendly. Ambience is Clean, & Friendly. I have only one complaint which concerns my Omelette. It concerns the cheese in the omelette that was not fully melted, especially in the center. This is an inherent problem with Cheese Omelettes, in that the Cheese is refrigerated and when placed in an omelette does not sometimes have the time to melt, completely, or not at all. Will we return? Absolutely.

We have loved going to Blue Moon for almost a decade now. The old 50s diner look is super fun and the food is reasonably priced and delicious!!

Blue Moon has been our local go-to breakfast joint for years, in part due to its convenient location and in part because the other offerings around Beaverton/Hillsboro are mediocre (or downright awful - thinking about a certain egregiously popular house a few miles down the road). The interior is much improved since they reupholstered the seats and revamped the menus, although that came with a price increase. Don't expect cheap food - it's fast, decent food in a cozy, retro, bustling setting. The staff is friendly, if not perpetually rushing to serve everyone. We almost always order chicken fried steak and eggs, and often the unique Thai curry omelet. Never had a real issue, although there's higher quality food east across the river...

"5 and a half stars" per my kids! First of all the menu is huge! Breakfast all day PLUS specials up on the whiteboard, which I didn't see until too late -- things like the soup of the day. There is also desserts! Right when you walk in there's a small pie case -- I saw banana cream and cinnamon rolls; plus they have milkshakes (and will make them boozy for you). It was pretty quiet when we went in for our weekday dinner. One waitress working the front and taking care of all that role entails: hosting, taking orders, cleaning up. But service was prompt and attentive the whole time. There are booster seats and high chairs for the kids, but no crayons for entertainment so BYO. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers, fries and breakfast plates -- said the pancakes were almost as good as McDonalds [[eyeroll...]]. I liked my country benedict tho the sausage was a bit salty. My husband ate up all his chicken fried steak. I don't think Yelp does the dollar sign ratings anymore but this is a $$ place -- some of the larger breakfast platters were more than $20. Pretty big portions tho!

My wife noticed this place one day and we decided to try it. The decor is a really cool old diner style. That seems very out of place for the surrounding area. If you ever played fallout four, that's basically the vibe, this place emanates. The service is very friendly, seems like a thai owned place. There is a large abundance of items, breakfast lunch, and even Thai themed dishes. We didn't try the desserts, but will try that next time I got the Thai omelette which was an omelette with mushrooms, bell peppers basil topped with the curry sauce. It was a bit strange, having Curry on my breakfast item, but overall was still enjoyable and good. My wife's pancakes were really good. She like them a lot. Jai was an awesome waitress and also super friendly to everyone she was serving. If you ever see or considered this place, go now!

In town for a wedding because I feel like if I'm traveling I'm either seeing family or going to a wedding. A friend suggested this place and as a group of 5 we walked in and sat down in under 10 minutes. Amazing country Benedict. The biscuits were moist and the gravy was perfectly made. I'll probably request this the next time I come up! Enjoy!

Potatoes are my favorite, especially during breakfast. This was a cute and well decorated diner that we stopped by. The stuffed hash browns were sooo good, crispy thin potatoes paired with the savory bacon, adding on the gooey cheese then paired with an egg yolk. It was heavenly. The country fried steak was also really good, the sauce was flavorful. Also the portions were huge for the price. Definitely enjoyed this meal and will come back. Also plenty of parking outside or in the plaza next door.
